Main engine pumps

Description

A set of pump machinery for the main engine room.  All the free standing pumps in the engine room are represented here, including the refrigeration pumps and the secondary condenser. This kit comes as six pieces which are very easy to put together.

After discussing these parts with several Hachette modelmakers, we decided to leave the steam delivery pipes off this model as they visually over complicate the engines to an extent that does not entirely fit with the overall look of the engine, they tended to block the view of the moving crankshafts, and they are incredibly difficult to work with, being very fragile and difficult to attach.
